Novruz Temrezov

Nauru Srapilewitsch Temresow (Russian Науруз Срапилевич Темрезов, Azerbaijani Novruz Temrezov; born January 6, 1981 in Karatschajewsk ) is a Russian and Azerbaijani wrestlers. He won a bronze medal each in free style in the middleweight division at the European Championships 2005, 2008 and 2009.

Career

Temresow Nauru is one of the many Caucasian wrestlers in wrestling, especially in free style, dominate the action on the Russian and the international wrestling mat. He began in 1995 with the rings. First, he started for Russia, but was able to wrestle in there against the extremely strong competition in the class only in 2005.

In 2005 he won the prestigious " Ivan Yarigin " tournament in Krasnoyarsk before Vadim Laliew, Russia, Lee Full hard from the United States and Georgi Ketojew from Russia. In the Russian championship this year, he came at middleweight behind Schirwani Muradov and Saschid Saschidow to 3rd place.

Nauru Temresow was used by the Russian Wrestling Federation in 2005 at the European Championships in Varna at middleweight. He won there three fights, but lost to the Turks Serhat Balci that finished 3rd place. He won this place with a points victory (4:1 techn. Dots) against the Germans David Bichinaschwili.

In 2006 he joined the " Ivan Yarigin " tournament behind his Russian compatriots Adam Saitijew and Schirwani Muradov to 3rd place. Forces in international championships he got this year but no.

Due to the huge competition in Russia Nauru Temresow moved in 2007 to Azerbaijan. He became a member of the sports club Alasport Baku, where it is trained by Alchaz Tschatschajew and Elman Askerov. He then started this year at the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan already. He succeeded there in his first fight a brief point victory (3:2 techn. Dots) over the former world champion Revaz Mindoraschwili from Georgia. But in his second fight he lost by the same score against the strong Iranian Reza Yazdani. Since this but did not reach the final, he was eliminated after the second round and finished only 17th place, which certainly did not correspond to its actual performance.

In 2008, Nauru Temresow won at the European Championships in Tampere at middleweight again a bronze medal. After a defeat in the semi-final against Georgi Ketojew, a starting for Russia Georgians, he defeated it in battle for the medal Vadim Laliew, a starting Armenia Russians. At the Olympic Games in Beijing, he defeated Chagnaadorj Ganzoring from Mongolia and Reza Yazdani. But in the quarter-finals he lost to Georgi Ketojew. In 2009, Nauru Temresow then won the European Championship in Vilnius for the third time a bronze medal. He was defeated in the semifinals where his caucasian, starting for Russia compatriot Soslan Ktsojew, but the bronze medal won by a clear points victory over the Bulgarians Miroslaw Geschew.

In 2010, he competed at the World Championships in Moscow again at middleweight. He won there over Yavaşer Gökhan from Turkey and Emzarios Bentinidis, Greece, but lost in the quarterfinals against Soslan Ktsojew from Russia. Since this did not reach the final battle, he had to retire and landed on the 10th Place.
