Novyi Buh

Novyi Buh (Ukrainian Новий Буг; Russian Новый Буг / Novy Bug ) is a city in the east of Mykolaiv Oblast in Ukraine. It is about 90 kilometers northeast of the Oblasthauptstadt Mykolaiv.

At the city council community include not only the city proper and the 5 villages Dobra Volya ( Добра Воля ) Schowtnewe ( Жовтневе ) Sahalna Koryst ( Загальна Користь ) Nowosillja ( Новосілля ) and Petriwka ( Петрівка ).

The village was mentioned in 1810 under the name Semeniwka ( Семенівка ), then from 1832 as a place Nowopawliwka ( Новопавлівка ) is out and receives its present name in 1860.
