Now Hear This (film)

Now Hear This is an American animated short film directed by Chuck Jones from the year 1962.

Action

Various noises accompany the credits and a devil seeks his second horn before a man calls "Quiet! ". Silence occurs. A small yellow dot bounces noisily about the words Silence is Golden, where he dyed the blue word Silence gold. An elderly man with green ear trumpet appears and finds a red ear trumpet. From his beautiful tones seem to sound as he tosses his old stethoscope into a trash can.

Happen with the new ear trumpet the man all sorts of strange things, beautiful tones are bothered by everyday noise, a bird 's sounds like a music box by itself and trötet shortly thereafter in high volume, an egg begins to play trumpet music. In ear trumpet rings with a time a phone that is installed in a phone booth, suddenly the shower is, bubbles emerge from the ear trumpet and engine noises and shots ring out. As records funnel the stethoscope is not to be used and also as protection against the rain not, it rains but then even from him. Now Hear This experienced its premiere in 1962 and arrived on 27 April 1963 as part of the Looney Tunes Theatrical Cartoon Series in the cinemas. All to be heard in the film's voice spoke a Mel Blanc.

Now Hear This 1963 for an Oscar in the category " Best Animated Short Film " nomination, but could not prevail against The Hole itself.
