Nowe Kotkowice

New cowl village (Polish: Nowe Kotkowice ) is a town in Upper Silesia. New cowl village located in the municipality Oberglogau ( Głogówek ) in Prudnicki powiat (district Neustadt OS) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship.

New cowl village located five kilometers northeast of the municipal center Oberglogau, 25 kilometers east of the county town of Prudnik ( Neustadt OS) and 33 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship ( Opole ).

History

His name New cowl village was the place after the southern village cowl village, which was henceforth called Old cowl village. Furthermore, the place was also called dog Beck and Beck House. Here, the name of the Vorwerk dog Beck deduced. 1818 New frock village counted seven farmers and Vorwerk. In 1865 the town had seven gardeners and four smallholdings. At this time the place was the parish after Oberglogau and the students were enrolled after Rosnochau.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 voted 78 voters to remain in Germany and seven for belonging to Poland. New cowl village remained with the German Reich. Around 1930 the family sold the estate of Oppersdorff New cowl village. 1933 lived 134 inhabitants in the village. End of the 1930s was an airfield. 1939, the place had 138 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Nowe Kotkowice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship and since 1999 he is part of the powiat Prudnicki. On 22 April 2009 German was in the community Oberglogau who belongs to New cowl village, introduced as a second official language. On 1 December 2009, the City also received the official German names new cowl village.
