Nowy Tomyśl Wind Turbines

In the Polish wind farm Nowy Tomyśl the two highest wind power plants in the world have been installed since 2012. The used there, wind turbines of the type of transit countries FL -2500 and a rotor diameter of 100 meters, with the nacelles resting on a particularly high steel truss tower with a hub height of 160 meters. This gives a total height of 210 meters. Thus the two systems triggered by the wind farm, wind turbine Laasow with 205 meters overall height as the highest wind power plant from which this took top spot since 2006. The three systems are state of the beginning of 2013 the only wind turbines with a total height exceeded 200 meters.
