Nozomi Komuro

Nozomi Komuro (Japanese小 室 希, Nozomi Komuro, born 29 May 1985 in Miyagi Prefecture ) is a Japanese Skeleton pilot.

Nozomi Komuro lives in Miyagi Prefecture and is active in the sport of skeleton in 2004. Since 2005 it belongs to the Japanese national team. Trained it is by Masahiro Matsui. Her international debut in the Japanese in November 2005 as part of the America 's Cup. Since January 2007, Komuro starts in skeleton World Cup. My first race in this competition they played on their home track in Nagano where she finished ninth and at the same time reached its best result to date in the World Cup. In the Skeleton World Cup 2007 in St. Moritz, the Japanese occupied the 20th position and at the national championships, she won the title.

In 2010 she was beside Shinsuke Tayama and Kazuhiro Koshi to the skeleton and bobsleigh selection of Japan to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver with Masaru Inada as a coach.
