NSDAP Long Service Award

The Long Service Award of the NSDAP was founded by Adolf Hitler on April 2, 1939 by arrangement and was to all party members, whether political leader or member of a related structure, in recognition of faithful performance of duty will be awarded. It did not matter whether the Beliehenen worked full-time or volunteer.

Levels

The stages were divided by active service:

  • III. Stage in gold after 25 years of service
  • II stage after 15 years of service in Silver
  • I. Stage in bronze after 10 years of service

Appearance

The award is a religious cross with curly beams and beams in the corners. In the middle of the party cross eagle is depicted wearing the swastika in its talons, which is surrounded by an oak wreath. The arms of the cross and the obverse are blue in the second degree, in the III. Level white enamelled.

Carrying method

The service award was worn on the great orders buckle. It was noteworthy that women presented the award to a 15-mm wide band around the neck wore (see Mother's Cross ). At the small medal buckle only the corresponding bands were worn. In awarding a higher level, had the lower not stored, but was allowed to be carried forward.

Others

Under the law on titles, orders and decorations from 26 July 1957, the Service Award of the NSDAP in the Federal Republic of Germany may be worn in any form.
