NT1 (TV channel)

NT1 ( Nouvelle Télévision 1) is a private French TV channel, a kind of full program.

History

The launch of NT1 was scheduled on the platform ABsat the AB Groupe. At the end of 2004, AB Groupe planned the channel La Quatre name ( The Fourth ). However, this did not happen, since France Télévisions announced to rename their station 4 Festival in France. This meant that AB Groupe to the transmitter but now again called NT1.

In June 2009, the station was bought by Groupe TF1.
