NTN Corporation

NTN Corporation ( NTN Japanese株式会社, NTN Kabushiki - gaisha, according to the founders Niwa, Tomoe and Nishizono and later as an abbreviation for New Technology Network ) is a Japanese manufacturer of rolling bearings.

History

1937 NTN was renamed Toyo Bearing Manufacturing. 1961 was a Toyo a license agreement with INA bearings Schaeffler and marketed the finished needle bearings jointly by the NTN bearings Europe. In 1963, the company entered into a similar agreement with the company Hardy Spicer one for the production of constant velocity joints of Birfield type. In the same year, NTN Bearing Corporation of America was founded, in 1972 again the old name was included in the company name ( NTN Toyo Bearing Company ), 1989 saw the final designation Back in NTN Corporation.
