Nu Virgos

VIA Gra (Russian ВИА Гра ) is a Ukrainian- Russian girl group, which also occurs under the name Nu Virgos. The band name VIA Gra is a pun on the acronym for the Russian words vocal / instrumental / Ansambl for ensemble; Gra is the Ukrainian word for play.

Your first hit in the charts of both countries of origin they had in September 2000 with the single Popytka No. 5 The single Stop! Стоп! Stop! Стоп! Stop! was voted " Song of the Year " in 2002. Outside of the charts within the Russian-Ukrainian -speaking VIA Gra reüssierte first time in May 2004 with the English version of this single. The girl group was put together by the manager Dimitri Kostjuk and songwriter Konstantin Meladze. Currently the group is formed by Albina Dschanabajewa, Eva Bushmina and Santa Dimopulus. VIA Gra received the Russian MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, an important market for the Russian pop music award.
