Nübel

Nübel (Danish: Nybøl ) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. The municipality comprises the towns of Berend, Brekling and Nübel. In addition, there are Breklingfeld, hair Holm ( Hareholm ) High air and triangle in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Nübel located about 5 km north of Schleswig on long lake. To the south runs the federal highway 201 from Husum to Kappeln, west of the Federal Highway 7 from Schleswig to Flensburg.

History

Incorporations

On January 1, 1971, the municipalities Brekling and Nübel were merged to form the new municipality Brekling - Nübel. On January 1, 1974, added Berend. The name of the municipality was officially changed to Nübel.

Policy

Of the 15 seats in the municipal council, the SPD has since the local elections the seven seats in 2013, the CDU and the voter community FWGN have three seats and the two SSW.
