Nuccio Ordine

Nuccio Ordine ( born July 18, 1958 in Diamante, Cosenza, Calabria ) is an Italian philosopher and literary critic.

Ordine is since 2001 professor of Italian literature at the University of Calabria. Previously, he served as a fellow of the Harvard University Center for Studies of the Italian Renaissance " Villa I Tatti " and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and a visiting scientist at the Centre d' Études Supérieures de la Renaissance in Tours and at the Warburg Institute in London. The field of Ordine is the Italian Renaissance, above all the work of Giordano Bruno, for which he has authored numerous publications that have been translated into several languages.
