Nullor

Nullor as is known in the control theory, a four-pole, consisting of a Nullator at the entrance and at the output Norator. The designation was by H. J. Carlin in 1965 coined.

The Nullor is a theoretical model for an ideal operational amplifier in the linear region, which is characterized by infinite gain. Thus, it has an infinite input resistance and a vanishing output resistance. Described as a two-port network are all transmission parameters of the corresponding chain matrix A null:

In circuits with negative feedback, the output voltage Ua and the output current Ia through the Nullor is determined such that the input voltage Vin and the input current Ie found by the external feedback network to 0.
