Num Ri

The Num Ri is a six-thousand in the Khumbu region of Nepal. He is the Iceland peak adjacent, but compared to this hitherto been climbed only once technically much more demanding and. Other mountains in the neighborhood are Cho Polu and Baruntse.

The Num Ri has a long mountain ridge that culminates in an easterly direction in a pyramid-like summit. He is busy with numerous slope glaciers.

The first ascent was on 7 November 2002 by the Leipzig climber Olaf Rieck, Lydia Schubert and Carsten Schmidt.
