The Libyan language (also altlibysch or numidisch ) is a hitherto largely unintelligible language or group of languages ​​, which is occupied from the 3rd century BC to the 3rd century AD in large parts of North Africa and as a precursor the Berber languages ​​is considered. Although the Libyan font used for the transcript of Libyan inscriptions is largely unreadable and several bilingual texts are received, the Libyan language remains essentially incomprehensible.
