Nuno Ribeiro

Nuno Ribeiro (born 9 September 1977) is a Portuguese cyclist.

Nuno Ribeiro began his career in 2000 at the Portuguese team Barbot - Torrie. In 2002, he was the GP Abimota and the Circuito de Nafarros win. Then he moved to L.A. - Pecol. Here he could decide the overall ranking for itself with a stage win in the Tour of Portugal. At the start of the 2005 season, he moved to the Spanish ProTour team Liberty Seguros - Würth. Then the Giro d' Italia, he was given a curfew because of excessive hematocrit and was then thrown by Manolo Saiz from the team. He arrived shortly thereafter under his old team. In September 2009, he has been locked because EPO doping by the International Cycling Union UCI.
