Nurit Zarchi
Nurit Zarchi ( born 1941 in Jerusalem) is an Israeli writer.
Life
Having lost her father at the age of six years, Nurit Zarchi grew up in Kibbutz Geva. She graduated in Jerusalem and worked as a journalist. She also taught courses in creative writing. To Zarchis works include short stories, poetry, essays and more than 80 children's books. Her books have been translated in 15 languages.
