Nus

Nus is a municipality of Valle d'Aosta, Italy. The community is located about 8 km east of Aosta and has 2954 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in an area of 57 km ². Nus is located at an altitude of 527 m s.l.m. and has the neighboring communities Bionaz, Fénis, Oyace, QT, Saint- Marcel, Torgnon and Verrayes. Worth seeing are the castle and the parish church, which was already mentioned in the 12th century.

Nus is one of the wine-growing villages of the valley and is the grape variety Vien de Nus her name.
