Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua is a town in the south of the island of Bali, Indonesia.

The place is just 25 kilometers south of Bali's capital Denpasar on a peninsula.

Nusa Dua is a pure tourist. The area is home to several large upscale hotels or the luxury class. For this reason, the prices in the restaurants and shops are much higher than on the rest of the island.

Events

In 2007, the World Climate Conference was held in Nusa Dua. Here in 2011 the first Seminar on Tourism Ethics in Asia was held.

Tanjung Benoa

Just north of the tourist district on the Tanjung Benoa peninsula, there is a less exclusive hotel district and the village of Benoa with multi-ethnic population. The sand of the beaches located here has now been almost completely eroded by the increased flow after the lying off the coast reef for the extraction of construction materials had been removed.
