Nutteln
Nutteln is a municipality in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.
Geography and transport
Nutteln is about 10 km northwest of Itzehoe and just south of Vaale on the road L 327 (formerly Federal Road 431), almost exactly on the boundary between the marsh and the Geest. Through the community of Nuttelner stream flows.
History
From the year 1247 the first mention of Dorfesbezeichnung " Nutle ". This name is probably derived from the older term " Nutloh " from. The meaning of the place name may therefore be specified as grove, or " grove of nut bushes ".
Policy
Since the local elections of 2008, the voters Community KWG has all nine seats of the municipal council.
