The Nuyakuk River is a 58 km-long right tributary of the Nushagak River in Southwest Alaska.

It rises in the Wood - Tikchik State Park from the Tikchik Lake, flows eastward and flows north-west of Koliganek in the Nushagak River, which flows, in turn, in the Bristol Bay.

The designation of Alaska Natives for the river was documented in 1898 by the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey as " Tikchik ". " Nu- ya- kok ", the origin of the present name is derived from a backup created by HC Fassett from the United States Bureau of Fisheries card from the year 1910.
