Nyanga-Nationalpark

Nyanga National Park (formerly Rhodes Inyanga National Park ), formerly Inyanga, is a 1700 m high altitude natural park with about 3000 inhabitants in the neighboring town of Nyamhuka in the Manicaland province in Zimbabwe, approximately 105 km north of Mutare.

Its attraction is the 33,000 hectares of mountainous terrain with the 2600 m summit of Inyangani, the highest mountain in Zimbabwe, the waterfalls of the Pungwe River and the 760 m high Mtarazi cases ( Mutarazi Falls), officially the sixth highest in the world. The terrain is more alpine than tropical. Together with those of Chimanimani and those of Bvumba These mountains separate the highlands of Zimbabwe by the Mozambican lowlands. The park covers some relics from the Stone Age as ditches, stone castles, patios and paths.

Near the place Nyamhuka maintains the army training camp.
