Nyker

Nyker is a village with 709 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) on the Danish Baltic Sea island of Bornholm. The village is located in the same parish ( Nyker Sogn ), which belonged to the Office Harde Vester Herred in the former Bornholm to 1970. With the dissolution of the hardware structure of the parish was included in the municipality Hasle, the municipality in turn went to a popular decision on 1 January 2003 with other municipalities in the region Bornholm municipality. Between 2003 and 2007 this was acyclic, since 1 January 2007, it is part of the Capital Region.

The Church of Nyker Ny Kirke is one of the four round churches on Bornholm.

Nyker is located about two kilometers southeast of Muleby and about seven kilometers north-east of Rønne.
