Nylars

Nylars is a small village with 213 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) on the Danish Baltic Sea island of Bornholm. The village is located in the same parish ( Nylarsker Sogn ), the office belonged until 1970 to Harde Vester Herred in the former Bornholm. With the dissolution of the hardware structure of the parish was included in the municipality Aakirkeby, the Commune in turn went to a popular decision on 1 January 2003 with other municipalities in the region Bornholm municipality. Between 2003 and 2007 this was acyclic, since 1 January 2007, it is part of the Capital Region.

Nylars is located about seven kilometers west of Aakirkeby and about eight kilometers southeast of Rønne.

The Church of Nylars is one of the four round churches on Bornholm.
