Nymph Errant

Nymph Errant is a musical with the music of Cole Porter, wrote the book Romney Brent based on a novel by James Laver. Charles B. Cochran produced the show as a "star vehicle" for Gertrude Lawrence. Romney Brent has directed, Agnes de Mille took over the choreography. The premiere took place at the Adelphi Theatre in London's West End on October 6, 1933.

Instead, to drive from their Swiss girl home after school to Oxford, Evangeline would prefer to " experiment " with men. For them a random walk, they, on the side of French artists, a Russian musician, a girl acting Count, a Greek businessman, a Turkish soldier and an American engineer, first to Paris and on the French coast, then to Venice, Athens begins Smyrna, a harem in the Turkish province, eventually leads back through Istanbul to Paris again. On the way to meet her courtesans, concubines, slaves, schoolmates, of their love relationships and experiences with men she finds out. But at the end of their journey Evangeline is still untouched.
