The lily -like ( Nymphaeales ) represent one of the orders of the basal angiosperms; they contain three families.

Description

There are herbaceous, anchored at the base of the aquatic marsh and aquatic plants. Depending on the type they have underwater and / or floating leaves. You almost always do not have tracheae. The Siebröhrenplastiden are S-type. The flowers are hermaphrodite. All flower organs are arranged spirally and are usually numerous.
