The Njuja (Russian Нюя; Yakut Ньүүйэ ) is a 798 km long left tributary of the Lena in Western Siberia (Russia, Asia).

Course

The Njuja rises approximately 450 m west of the Lena Plateau in eastern Siberia. The source is located in the extreme west of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia ), whose territory flows the river along its entire length, close to the border with the Irkutsk Oblast. The Njuja flows through the plateau in predominantly easterly direction from the middle reaches of meandering approximately parallel to the Lena, usually in wide arcs in a narrow valley in parts. Finally, the river flows below the village named after her Njuja in 150 m altitude in the Lena.

The main tributaries are Tympytschan, Chamaky, Ulachan - Murbajy, Otschtschugui - Murbajy and Betschentscha (also called Betintsche ), all from the left.
