Nzime people

The Ndzimu (also Nzime ) are an ethnic group who live in the south-east Cameroon rain forest zone. There are less than 30,000 (2000) Ndzimu in Cameroon.

The Nzime live along the road, which begins south of Abong - Mbang, goes through Mindourou and Lomié, and bifurcates after Zoulabot and Zwadiba. Their territory is located south of Badwe'e in Djaposten, east of Koo, north of Njyem, and west of the Kunabembe Folk - all these peoples are culturally related. The Ndzimu speak the dialect of Nzime Koonzime ( " OZM " ), one of Makaa - Njyem - Bantu languages.

Meanwhile, many Nzime are Christians, only a few acknowledge their own traditional central African religion.
