Operation " Little Brother " ( original title: OK Connery ) is an Italian spy movie from 1967 with Neil Connery, the younger brother of Sean Connery, in the leading role. The film was released in the U.S. as Operation Kid Brother.
Action
A criminal syndicate plans to bring the gold reserves of the entire Earth itself. Since the best secret agent of Great Britain is currently unavailable, the British government commissioned his younger brother Neil Connery with the struggle against the criminal. Production
When Sean Connery's brother Neil, a professional plasterer, in the early 1960s a bag was stolen with his work tools, he turned to the press and was, among other things a radio interview. Through this interview, the producer Dario Sabatello noticed him and invited him to test shots to Rome one, and he offered him the lead role in Operation Little Brother. Neil Connery should it receive 5,000 pounds, equivalent to approximately 80,000 euros in 2012.
In addition to Neil Connery in the lead role dedicated Sabatello five actors who've been known from James Bond films. Bernard Lee and Lois Maxwell play similar roles as in the James Bond series, where they embodied M and Miss Moneypenny. Adolfo Celi and also Anthony Dawson were known as villains from fireball or Dr. No. The latter also played Blofeld in From Russia with Love and Thunderball, but where only his hands were visible.
