Oaksterdam, Oakland

Oaksterdam is a neighborhood in Downtown Oakland, California, where action is taken and worked in many different ways with cannabis as a medicine. The word Oaksterdam is a portmanteau composed of Oakland and Amsterdam.

Cannabis is offered in a variety of cheaper deals smoke and edible in cafes, clubs and patient facilities. Oaksterdam is located on the north end of downtown Oakland between the Lake Side and the Financial District. It is roughly bounded by 14th Street to the southwest, Harrison Street in the south east, 19th Street to the northeast and the Telegraph Avenue in the northwest.

One of the most important institutions in the neighborhood is presided by activist Richard Lee Oaksterdam University, which offers scientific support.
