Oasis is an impact crater in the eastern part of the Libyan Desert. The crater is visible at the surface, but already badly eroded. In the topographically eye-catching ring is only around the central mountain. Until the original crater rim the diameter was up to 18 km. The structure is younger than 120 million years.
