Oberbergische Bahn
The Oberbergische train runs in forward movement of the S -Bahn Rhein-Sieg as a regional train RB 25 (in future: S 14) from Cologne Hansa ring Meinerzhagen.
DB Regio NRW is this a diesel railcar VT 644 series in double and triple traction.
Route
The RB 25 starts in Cologne Hansa ring and performs on the tracks of the S- Bahn route of the railway track Cologne-Kalk - Overath, in Overath then the railway track Siegburg - Olpe (also called " Agger train "), and on which it is to Dieringhausen drives, from there it goes to the Volmetal car to endpoint Meinerzhagen.

Future
Further future
The section between Cologne Hansa ring and Overath should be driven in the future in 20 -minute intervals. This, however, is a double-track lines is necessary. The line should be 2015 integrated into the network of S -Bahn Rhein-Sieg and continue over Cologne addition to the Eifel.

Award to DB Regio Rheinland

Work at the stations
Since the beginning of October 2012 ran extensive work in the area of the station Meinerzhagen. For the reactivation of the passenger traffic in December 2013, the section between Marie Heath and Meinerzhagen the old railway tracks were torn down and built two new rail tracks and three points for rail traffic. The reactivation of the Volmetal web is a major project within the regional program " Top of the Volme ".
