Oberbruck

Oberbruck is a commune with 437 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Thann, founded the Canton Masevaux and the 2001 Association of Municipalities Vallée de la Doller et Soultzbach.

Geography

The municipality is located in the southeastern Oberbruck Vosges. The belonging to the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges municipality covers the lower Seebachtal and part of the Doller valley. The Doller forms the southern boundary of the municipality. In the extreme northwest of the community of the Vosges ridge is reached, the above leads to the Vosges department in Lorraine. Niederbruck is surrounded by striking mountain: in the north from the summit of the Tête des Perches ( 1222 m ) in the west of the Ballon d'Alsace ( 1247 m) and in the south by 1074 m high Baerenkopf.

Neighboring communities of Oberbruck are Rimbach- près- Masevaux in the north, Wegscheid in the east, Kirchberg in the south ( point of contact ), Dolleren in the west and Sewen and Saint- Maurice- sur -Moselle in the northwest.
