Geographical Location

Oberndorf am Hochegg is located about 23 km south-east of Graz, approximately 13 km west of the district capital field creek in East Styrian Hill Country.

Coat of arms

The award of the municipality coat of arms came into effect on 1 August 1998. Coat Description: In a silver shield with a silver thread inside bordiertes black cross bewinkelt of green rose branches, each with a red rose with silver stamens.
