Obere Warnow

Upper Warnow is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ), which was created on 1 January 2012 from the merger of the municipalities Grebbin and Herzberg. The community is managed by the Office Parchimer surrounding areas with offices in the city Parchim.

Geography

The municipality is located in rolling countryside Obere Warnow. The source of the eponymous Warnow is located in the municipal area.

The municipality includes the districts of Upper Warnow Grebbin, Herzberg, Kossebade, Lenschow, Woeten and Wozinkel.

History

After residents' meetings in the two communities signed on April 7, 2011, the mayor of the area change agreement, which provided for the merger to the new municipality Upper Warnow.
