Oberlascheid

Oberlascheid is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Prüm.

Geography

Oberlascheid is located in the North Eifel Nature Park near the border with Belgium. Radscheid is a district of Oberlascheid. The municipality also includes the living spaces on the bridge, Hascheiderhof, Herzfenn and Birkenhof.

History

A first mentioned Oberlascheid 1187, the current district Radscheid hundred years later. The emergence of an earlier building of the Chapel of St. Stefan is dated to the period around 1600.
