Oberon (poem)

Oberon is an epic poem by Christoph Martin Wieland, the 1780 appeared for the first time. The epic was a total of seven times fashioned over time until 1796 took its final shape. It had great influence on many musical and poetic works of that time, as Schiller's Don Carlos, Goethe's Faust II and Mozart's Magic Flute. Carl Maria von Weber used the fabric in his last opera Oberon by in 1826.
