Oberottmarshausen

Oberottmarshausen (ugs. Abert Hausa ) is a municipality in the Swabian district of Augsburg and a member of the administrative community Großaitingen.

Structure

Oberottmarshausen has no districts. There is only the district Oberottmarshausen. However, some property of the streets " Grenzweg " and " foal Hofstraße " of the neighboring Königsbrunner district " foal " and the street " Hergetterfeld " of the neighboring hamlet Kleinaitinger Lechfeld North belong to the community Oberottmarshausen.

History

The Bishopric of Augsburg had in place rich possession, there in the 13th century as a fief to various citizens of Augsburg forgave such as the families Langenmantel and Schongauer. From the 14th century to 1505 and from 1698 to the mid-19th century, the Lange family coat was especially significant landowner and had the low jurisdiction in the place held. Since 1313 also the cathedral chapter of Augsburg had some fief, which passed in 1629 into the possession of St. Ulrich and Afra Reichsstift in Augsburg. Since the Imperial Diet of 1803 the place belonged to Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community. In 1914 the church name was officially changed to Oberottmarshausen Oberottmarshausen.
