Obiymy Doshchu
Obijmy Doschtschu (Ukrainian: Обійми Дощу ) is a Ukrainian rock band, she describes her style as lyrical, autumnal rock music with influences of progressive rock, neo-classical and Doom Metal.
Band History
Obijmy Doschtschu was first founded in 2004 by Agafonkin as a solo project. Later Oleksiy Katruk shock to it and it was recorded a first demo. Two years after the founding, in early 2006, the band Live in Kiev occurs first, after Mykola Krywonos joined as the band's bassist. In the fall, changes Oleksiy Katruk from the keyboard to electric guitar, the same occurs Andrij Demjanenko the band in and becomes the new keyboardist.
Serhiy Dumler enters 2007, the band in and takes over the drums. In the same year Marija Kurbatova joins the band and replaced with Andrij Demjanenko, who had previously left the band on keyboards. After the band now had a full lineup, they began to give frequent concerts and participate in festivals in Ukraine.
After several demos, the band released 28 August 2009 her debut album as a free download on their website. Overall, the album consists of eight songs, which are a kind of summary of career to date. At the completion of the album numerous guest musicians were involved.
Currently the band is working on their new album, which is expected to be published in autumn 2011.
