The Oblo is a possibly extinct language isolate of northern Cameroon.
It belongs to the Adamawa - Ubangi language group languages and not attributable to any of its subgroups. The speakers are mostly gone over to take over the Cameroonian official language is French, since that enjoys a higher political prestige on the part of the government.
Oblo is or was spoken in a small area including Gobtikéré, Ouro Ouro Be and Badjouma in Pitoa Bénoué in the Department.
