Obukhiv

Obukhiv (Ukrainian Обухів; Russian Обухов / Obukhov ) is located in central Ukraine in the Kiev Oblast right side on the Dnieper River. The City Council municipality is divided into the city proper and the two villages Lendy ( Ленди ) and Tazenky ( Таценки ).

Since 10 July 2010, the city is no longer under Rajonsverwaltung, but is under the direct Oblastverwaltung.

Traffic

The proximity to Kiev with its 2.7 million inhabitants makes Obukhiv attractive for commuters.

Language

Both Ukrainian and Russian are spoken and understood by the vast majority of the inhabitants.

Twinning

In 2004 was concluded with the German Radebeul (Saxony ), a town twinning.
