The Ocean Park Hong Kong is an amusement park in Hong Kong Iceland in the People's Republic of China. With 5.1 million visitors per year (2010) he is currently the seventh largest amusement park in Asia and the siebzehntgrößte theme park in the world.

History

The establishment of the park was opened in 1977 organized by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, which was free of charge by the Hong Kong government the necessary land. 1987 belonged to the park on to be a subsidiary of the club and received its own body, the Executive Board was appointed by the government. Today, the park is managed by the Ocean Park Corporation, an organization that is financially independent and non-profit.
