Ochsattel

The Ochsattel is 820 m above sea level. A. high mountain pass in southern Lower Austria, to the east leads from Traisental in the region of Piestingtales and the Schneeberg area. About him as a mountain pass leads the Gutensteiner road B21.
The increase in Traisental starts at Hohenberg and court office ( 480 m) and is available on two state roads. It runs relatively smoothly, while the summit section has about 10 % slope. 5 km after the pass, the road cuts east to the Cold Kuchl - a small village around the inn of the same name. There, the road splits into 3 possible routes:
- To the north through Inner Halbach and the Yoke type ( 1266 m) passing by small cell and on to Gölsental and to Hain field
- In an easterly direction to the tourism centers pipe in the mountains and good stone
- South over the Gschaiderwirt after Schwarzau in the mountains and on through the Höllentalbahn to Schneeberg / Rax or the Vienna Basin.
