Odd Martinsen
Odd Martinsen ( born December 20, 1942 in Nittedal ) is a retired Norwegian cross-country skier. He is the father of Bente Skari.
With the Norwegian season he was a starter for Olympic gold medalist at the Olympic Winter Games 1968. During the same occasion, he won silver again over 30 kilometers. He could again take second place in the relay at the 1976 Olympic Games and thus win the silver medal. At World Championships Martinsen won five medals ( 1 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze).
1969 Martinsen received the Holmenkollen medal. At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, he was clerk of the course of cross-country skiing competitions.
