Oderen

Oderen ( German: ORing ) is a municipality with 1303 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in Alsace region of France. She is a member of the Association of Communes Vallée de Saint -Amarin.

Geography

The community in the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges is located in the valley of the upper Thur, a few kilometers from the 1200 m high Drumont away at Vosges ridge. Named after the city, 884 m high Col d' Oderen leads above Kruth over the ridge by Ventron in Lorraine.
