The Office Or foreland formed in 1992 in a office in Brandenburg, where initially ten municipalities in the former county Fiirstenwalde had (now the Oder-Spree district, Brandenburg ) together to form a management group. Seat of the official administration is Briesen (Mark). Through municipal mergers, the number of official member municipalities has been reduced to three.
Location
The Office Or foreland is located in the north east of the Oder-Spree district of Brandenburg ( Germany ). It is bordered to the west by the official free city Fürstenwalde / Spree, on the north by the municipality and Steinhofel, on the northeast by the Office Seelow country, to the east by the Office Lebus and the official free city of Frankfurt ( Oder), to the south by the Office Schlaubetal and to the municipality and Rietz -Neuendorf and on the southwest by the Office Scharmutzelsee.

- Briesen (Mark) with the district bending
- Jacob village with the village districts of Jacob, Petersdorf b. Briesen, Pillgram and Waldsieversdorf
History
On 25 June 1992 the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave its approval for the formation of the Office or foreshore. As the time of conclusion of the Office June 30, 1992 has been set. The office was located in the municipality Briesen and initially consisted of ten municipalities in the former county Fiirstenwalde:
December 31, 1998, the village communities Jacob, Petersdorf merged to form a new congregation Jacob village in Briesen and Pillgram. To October 26, 2003 Falkenberg Municipality was incorporated by law in the community Madlitz -Wilmersdorf, at the same time, the community Sievers village was annexed by the municipal reform law in the municipality Jacob village. On 1 January 2014 Madlitz- Wilmersdorf was incorporated into Briesen.
