Odorheiu Secuiesc

Odorheiu Secuiesc (Romanian colloquially Odorhei, German Oderhellen, Hungarian Székelyudvarhely ) is a city in Romania in Harghita county in Transylvania and had in 2004 about 36,600 inhabitants, of which most Hungarians and 1,077 Romanians.

In dialectical variants, the city is also sometimes called Odderhällen or Hofmarkt. It is the cultural center of the Székely Land. The first documentary mention of the city took place in 1333 in a papal duty register, populated the area is, but ever since the Stone Age.
