Odsherred

Odsherred means an area, and ( since 1 January 2007 ) is a large village in the northwest of the Danish Zealand. The two Sejerø and Nekselø also belong to Odsherred. In the large village Odsherred the former municipalities drag spar, Nykøbing - Rørvig and Trundholm have been merged. The municipal area is 355 km ², its population (2006 pro forma) 32,890. The municipality is part of the Sjælland region.
