Oedemera flavipes is a beetle of the family of note longhorn beetle ( Oedemeridae ).

Features

The beetles are five to nine millimeters long and are dark colored gold green. Your elytra are strongly narrowed backwards and diverge. The males, in contrast to the females strongly club-shaped thickened hind legs.

Occurrence

The animals live in sunny forest edges and meadows and are in places very often. They fly from May to August.

Way of life

The adults often sit on flowering plants on which they feed on pollen, the larvae develop in stems of herbaceous plants and feed on plant tissue.
