Recreation area

Around the lake

On the north side is the spa center with its indoor and outdoor pools, the sandy beach with seating steps, as well as the sauna and the ice rink. On the east bank is the building of the water rescue. In the southeast there is a paddling pool and a buffet.

South of the lake leads past the rail link Traun - Marchtrenk in a tunnel. Along the railway track over unpaved bike path direction Traunbridge.

North of the lake there is a large parking lot for guests of the resort's center and the lake. In the summer months, however, the car park for the numerous bathers is usually much too small.

From the parking lot is a tarred road which is, however, released only for pedestrians and cyclists, east of the lawn past the water rescue in the Au, where it empties into the bike path, which accompanies the Traun River. From the confluence with the bike path is just a few meters from the Traun power station Traun Pucking.
